Organization Effectiveness

A range of approaches and methods are curated depending on the line of inquiry in any given case. This will usually be triggered by a project initiative which is looking into some concerns for performance or other challenge. Effectiveness assessments and evaluations illustrate ‘what is going on,’ with Capability assessments looking into Why (workforce, organization design). It is likely therefore that an Effectiveness-based project will include a Capability evaluation in order to generate optimization or solutions.

  • Activity Analysis gets to the bottom of what is commanding the organization’s attention and resources.

  • Resource Utilization and Productivity Analysis builds on activity insights to determine how well resources are deployed, workforce planning, and capability opportunities.

  • Network Analysis reveals the ‘lived organization’ – how people and structure interact, patterns of collaboration, trust and communications.

One effective indicator for productivity and efficiency is RESOURCE UTILIZATION. This is the measure of how well the organization is making best use of the human talent it has employed – both permanent and temporary. We can do this through WORKLOAD ANALYSIS:

  • What is everyone doing?

  • How well is it related to strategy, purpose, and organizational goals?

  • What is the capacity in the organization? Talent and Resources.

We have developed and tested a unique approach and methodology for Workload Analysis, which provides data-driven evidence to support continuous improvement.
