DR GINNY SANTIAGO

An educator, researcher, published author, administrator, and consultant. Prof. Dr. Ginny’s career spans both the private and public sectors, with a particular focus on service-oriented institutions. A licensed CPA, she began her work in auditing at Sycip, Gorres, Velayo, and Associates. She pursued her master's degree at the Asian Institute of Management, and from there, she applied her skills at the Office of the President of the Philippines. It was after her stint in the government that she moved into human resource management consultancy. She later became a professor at De La Salle University, where she had obtained her undergraduate and doctoral degrees, before and later at the Asian Institute of Management. As a professor, Dr. Ginny taught in the areas of responsible management (ethics, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, and sustainability), human resource management, and family business management, as well as finance and accounting. While at the two institutions, she spearheaded the family business management programs.

An active researcher, Dr. Ginny received local and international recognition. She was honored by the National Research Council of the Philippines of the Department of Science and Technology as an Achievement Awardee for her contributions in the field of management research.

Driven by her desire to help others, she was involved in several civil society endeavors and became president of the NPC Ladies Foundation Inc. She engages in voluntary work for her community.
